Authentic Sumatra Tour

Step off the tourist path and meet a local Batak coffee & vegetable farmer and his family in their traditional Batak house (Rumah Bolon). Learn how the Batak still live today, walk the scenic farmland, meet the water buffalo — then cook a famous fish BBQ and typical Sumatran sambal with the Ibu (Mama) of the house, and eat together on the floor, Batak-style. Vegetarian options available.
